It&amp;rsquo;s a headache. One minute everything is running smooth, and the next, a tube snaps or burns out, and your whole flow grinds to a halt.&#xA;Usually, this happens because of two things: mechanical stress or thermal shock. Basically, the tubes just can&amp;rsquo;t handle the vibration of the conveyor or the wild swings in temperature. Often, it&amp;rsquo;s just a weak spot in the quartz or a mounting bracket that&amp;rsquo;s slightly off.&#xA;We&amp;rsquo;ve spent a lot of time fixing this. We make structurally reinforced quartz lamps that you can just drop right into your existing setup to stop that endless cycle of failures.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;What’s actually going on inside the tube?&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Most standard lamps fail at the pinch seal—that tiny spot where the filament meets the glass. It&amp;rsquo;s the weakest link.&#xA;We changed that. By tweaking the wall thickness and using a higher purity of fused quartz, our lamps can take the heat and the shaking of a Blomax oven without cracking.&#xA;We also looked at the thermal footprint. Here&amp;rsquo;s the thing: if you push too much heat density, you might speed up your process, but you&amp;rsquo;re basically cooking the quartz. We balanced the filament load so the ends of the tube don&amp;rsquo;t overheat. That&amp;rsquo;s where most of those annoying cracks start.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Getting them installed (and keeping them alive)&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;The good news is that these match the original SIG footprints. You won&amp;rsquo;t need to mess around with your sockets or rewire anything. They just fit.&#xA;We also use a high-grade halogen gas fill. This stops the tungsten from evaporating and turning the tube black, which means your infrared heat stays strong for much longer.&#xA;But, a quick word of warning.&#xA;Because these tubes are reinforced, they&amp;rsquo;re stiffer than what you&amp;rsquo;re used to. If your mounting clips are bent or crooked,&lt;strong&gt;do not force them in&lt;/strong&gt;. Forcing a stiff tube into a crooked socket is a one-way ticket to a stress fracture.&#xA;Check your bracket alignment first. And while you&amp;rsquo;re at it, check your blowers. If the airflow is blocked, the ends of the lamp will overheat, and even the toughest quartz in the world can&amp;rsquo;t survive that.
