We’ve also tuned the wattage and voltage to play nice with your existing power supply.&#xA;But a quick tip: if you&amp;rsquo;re running high-wattage tubes for those thick-walled preforms, your electrical contacts are going to feel the strain.**Check your sockets.**If there&amp;rsquo;s carbon buildup in there, your ends are going to burn out way too soon. Give them a good clean first.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Swap and Go&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;We spent a lot of time on the connector interface. Whether you&amp;rsquo;re running a classic SBO or the latest Matrix setup, the electrical resistance and dimensions are a mirror image of the originals. You can swap them out and get back to work without having to mess around with the oven&amp;rsquo;s PID controllers.&#xA;One last thing. A brand new lamp is great, but it can&amp;rsquo;t do everything. If your reflector is pitted or dirty, you&amp;rsquo;re wasting energy. While you&amp;rsquo;ve got the machine open for the swap, give those reflectors a scrub. You&amp;rsquo;ll get way more punch out of the infrared output and your cycle times will thank you.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

If the voltage is off by a hair, you&amp;rsquo;re stuck. Either the lamp isn&amp;rsquo;t hot enough, or it burns out way too fast. We match the resistance and filament geometry so your temperature ramp-up feels exactly like the original factory setup.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The glass and the &amp;ldquo;invisible&amp;rdquo; stuff&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;We use high-purity quartz because these lamps go through a lot of thermal shock. They heat up and cool down fast, and cheap glass just can&amp;rsquo;t handle that.&#xA;Then there&amp;rsquo;s the coating. Depending on your Matrix setup, we tweak the infrared emission. Shortwave IR digs deep into the PET, while medium-wave hits the surface. If you use the wrong one, you&amp;rsquo;ll spend your whole afternoon tweaking oven settings, only to realize the core of the preform is still cold.&#xA;Plus, we use standard R7s or Sk15 connectors. You just pop them in.
