You shouldn’t have to pull out a toolkit and start modifying your oven chassis just to get a lamp to sit right. It’s all in the millimeters. Here is the thing about quartz tubes: if the length or the terminal spacing is off by even two millimeters, you’re in trouble. You’ll end up putting mechanical stress on the electrodes, and that’s a one-way ticket to a premature burnout. We make sure our lamps hit those exact specs so they slide right in.
